• HISTORY - Don Saturnino Martínez was born in 1903 in Soria, a Spanish city located in the east of the autonomous community of Castile. At 53 years old, he arrived in Argentina with his family and soon after opened a bakery in Liniers. His biscuits became so famous that they decided to open a company in Ramos Mejía dedicated exclusively to the manufacture of lard biscuits under the name of Don Satur SA. Saturnino's face became an emblem of the brand, and today his slogan refers to him as 'the hero of the biscuit'.
