From the oldest stories of Argentina, back in 1870 when Mauricio Franck signed a contract with Ricardo Foster and the government of Santa Fe to keep a 14-kilometer plot of land. This place was a good work refuge for French, Italian and Swiss immigrants

Dedicated to wheat and corn, but a locust attack added to a great drought at the beginning of the 20th century led them to change direction: dairy farming.

The following year they opened a creamery in Las Tunas, Santa Fe. There they separated the cream from the milk and sent it by rail to the provincial capital. Shortly after they opened another one in Las Colonias. Finally In 1936 they saw the need to create a brand to have its own identity and, in this way, Milkaut was born (from the union of the translation of milk, in English, and the acronym of the cooperative).
